Zug, 7 January 2022 – Logol, an innovative Swiss technology solutions provider, announces that Marco Farina has been named to the extended Executive Board of the Swiss LegalTech Association (SLTA). Bringing together the various stakeholder groups of the Swiss legal technology ecosystem, the association is publicly recognized as the industry representative and has a consultative voice on relevant legislation. Marco Farina has also been appointed co-Head of the SLTA Ticino Chapter.

“Logol is committed to sharing knowledge on cutting-edge technologies that enable organizations to optimize costs and uncover new business opportunities,” says Marco Farina, Founder and CEO of Logol. “There is no doubt that digital transformation and artificial intelligence will lead to unprecedented levels of automation in the legal sector and will redefine the business scenario. We want to work with the SLTA community to face this challenge, create value, and together reap the benefits that new technological solutions can deliver.”

Among the activities planned by Logol in collaboration with SLTA are a series of free online events named ‘SLTA Talks’ during which Marco Farina and other representatives will moderate discussions with top-level international speakers focusing on technology in the legal and professional sectors. The first event ‘How AI can drive productivity’ will take place on 9 February 2022 at 17:30 CET. Subsequent events scheduled for later in the year will cover legal implications, opportunities and risks of blockchain and the benefits of automation for professional firms.

“There are many processes where technology can help lawyers carry out tasks faster and with higher accuracy, for example collecting information, preparing cases, predicting litigation outcomes and automating document management,” says Marco Farina. “Embracing digital transformation is becoming crucial for lawyers and law firms in order to remain competitive, however it will also bring enormous advantages to its early adopters.”

Marco Farina has a profound knowledge of private and public sector business and IT systems. In 2019, Logol launched ELLE, the first complete cloud-based management solution for law firms powered by artificial intelligence.
